At the '21st Korea Polytechnic University Industry-Academia Cooperation Industrial Technology Exhibition' held from the 13th to the 14th, Inno-te-co Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim In-ho), a resident company of the Korea Polytechnic University Business Incubator (hereinafter KPU BI, Director Jeong In-ho), was honored with the Siheung Mayor's Award.
The Industry-Academia Cooperation Industrial Technology Exhibition is an industry-academia collaboration festival created jointly by the university and enterprises. Celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, under the theme 'A New Era, Opening the Door to the Future: Quantum Jump,' it widely promotes its contribution to society and the achievements of industry-academia cooperation by exhibiting the works of enrolled KPU students and products developed through industry-academia collaboration between the university and enterprises.
In particular, the 'Industry-Academia Cooperation Hall,' a side event where the top 8 companies with excellent industry-academia cooperation results are selected to exhibit their products, is considered the core of the Industrial Technology Exhibition. Inno-te-co Co., Ltd., a company developing MEMS gas sensors and IoT gas alarms, won the Siheung Mayor's Award at this event and exhibited its products at the Industry-Academia Cooperation Hall.
CEO Kim In-ho of Inno-te-co Co., Ltd. expressed his aspirations, saying, "As the weather gets colder and attention is focused on carbon monoxide poisoning accidents, I believe we received a good evaluation because our product was judged to contribute to efficiently preventing them." He added, "While continuing our growth trend with achievements such as being selected for Pre-TIPS earlier this year and carrying out the Startup Growth Technology Development Project, we will continue to strive for good results under the support of the Business Incubator Center and the technical guidance of Professor Kim Chang-gyu from the Department of Nano Semiconductor Engineering."
Jeong In-ho, Director of KPU BI, stated, "I am very happy and proud that Inno-te-co Co., Ltd. won an award at this event," and added, "We will continue to provide efficient startup support processes so that they can grow into a company that pioneers markets with various technological capabilities."
